Mr. Roddy (my favorite junior high school Phys. Ed. teacher) made us do Interval training pretty often. Each time though, he’d make us run a little longer and we wouldn’t even notice it. Eventually he got us running miles like BEASTS. My fastest time was 7:34 and it was amazing. A tip if you want to start running, start interval training. Run short amounts then walk, then run, etc. However, you run a bit longer each time.
I LOVE INTERVAL TRAINING.
I love pushing myself to sprint until I can’t breath, then being able to take a deep breath only to waste it all on the next sprint. Honestly, one of my favorite workouts and training exercises. It’s one of those exercises you can’t do on a treadmill and it’s worth every drop of sweat and every breath.
