You guys, I love snowboarding and I’ll be honest, sometimes I spend all day on the bunny slope because I’m trying to improve but I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT when snowboarders/skiers believe that those who can’t ride shouldn’t even try to ride. To be quite honest, I just want to go up to some of these people who think they’re pro and honestly tell them that they are nothing special. At one point they too were beginners so what right do they have of blaming beginners of ruining the snow because they are riding on their edge or because skiers are falling for no reason. People fall, big deal. They’re learning. That’s like me saying if a baby falls while learning to walk, they’ll never learn to walk and should just give up. Share the mountain you guys, its not all about you. Yeah, I get it, its annoying when beginners are just sitting there and they’re in the way. Just think about how frustrating it was for you when you first learned. It’s painful but you learned to love the sport. For some people it just takes them longer than others to learn so don’t take your anger and frustration out on them.

In addition, if someone is hurt on the slopes, please help them especially if they are alone. Don’t be a bystander or a passerby. It’s not that hard to stop, ask if they’re okay and if they’re not, ride down and get a ski patrol/medic. Simple as that, you could be saving someones life. At my local resort and female was declared dead because fellow skiers and snowboarders were passing her by even though she was seriously hurt. She had serious internal bleeding. So as a fellow snowboarder/skier, please help those who are hurt. It’ll only be a small portion of your day.

These are just my thoughts and its up to you if you want to be offended or really think about what I wrote. Small things make a big difference.
